Modern and casual French restaurant in Hiroo

Restaurant Okada is a casual French restaurant in Hiroo, which is a sophisticated residential area nearby Ebisu, Roppongi, and Azabu. The small restaurant with 20 seats serves pre-fix course menu at JPY5,500 or  or full course at JPY8,000. I chosed pre-fix course which consists of amuse, 2 starters, main dish, and dessert.

The course starts with the amuse.

The owner chef Mr. Hiroshi Okada has an experience of working in France. He once served as sous chef in Chez L’Ami Jean in Paris. After spending 4.5 years in France, he returned to his home country to start up his own restaurant with the ambitious of serving French cuisines which fit Japanese taste.

Okada’s specialty – Confit of chicken dizzard

Gizzards confit with green leaves has a large portion. This dish is topped with egg yellow which is once frozen and thawed to obtain the solid texture. Interesting method!

After the main dish you can choose dessert or assorted cheeses.

The restaurant has 20 sheets in total including a private room for 4 people. The interior design is simple and modern.
