Pirouette is a French restaurant in Toranomon Hills, which is a shopping mall opened in June 2014. The restaurant has three faces: bistro, cafe, and epicerie. A full open kitchen is located in the center and a squared counter table rounds it. The stylish mood of this restaurant comes from its sophisticated interior design with a high ceiling.
The bistro side has a la carte and course menu of ¥8,000 with 5 dishes and 2 deserts.
The outstanding characteristic of this bistro is its long wine list, which consists of more than 250 wines. It ranges from a casual table wine at around ¥5,000 to a high end one, for example DRC’s La Tâche at ¥340,000.
The list is made based on a interesting concepts. It provides 2 labels from a single Champagne brand as follows.
NV Charles Heidsieck Brut Réserve – ¥ 13,000
NV Charles Heidsieck Rosé Réserve – ¥16,500
NV Egly Ouriet 1er Cru Les Vignes de Vrigny Brut – ¥18,000
NV Egly Ouriet Grand Cru Tradition Brut – ¥19,000
I strongly recommend to visit this restaurant on Saturday, because all the wine above ¥8,000 are served at half the prices stated in the list – 50% off every Saturday! This is a good news for wine lovers.
The restaurant has a private room with maximum 10 sheets. For business dinner, it is also useful.
