The original coffee shop, Fuglen, has served all kinds of espresso drinks with a carefull attention to quality since 1963 in Oslo, the capital city of Norway – the country is well known as the place with the highest quality of coffee in the world. The coffee shop opened its first oversea outpost here in Tokyo in 2012.
According to Oliver Strand, a columnist of New York Times, Fuglen of Oslo is “the best in the world and is worth flying for”. Actually, its coffee’s taste is completely clear and totally different from the strong Starbucks Coffee.
Fuglen is made based on the three concepts: espresso bar, cocktail bar, and showroom of Norwegian design furnitures. You can buy all the antique 50’s and 60’s furnitures placed in the shop.
